Long and cross-travel geared motors

    Cylindrical and conical-rotor, inverter-ready.

    Long and cross-travel geared motors

Travel motors are sized from wheel load and acceleration, not from the neighbour’s crane. Offset, right-angle and helical boxes all appear depending on the end truck.

    When it fits

A new end carriage needs a motor sized with the wheel. A noisy invertor-era drive on an old conical rotor is a modernization talk, not this page alone.

    Duty and steel

Starts per hour and acceleration set thermal size. Copying the kW on the next crane overheats the brake on a long shift.

    Interface

Torque arm, coupling and inverter (if used) share the end-carriage drawing. Pendant or radio does not change the mechanical size.

    Related service

End carriages and trolleys mount these motors. Electrical repair handles the inverter. Modernization swaps travel when the girder still earns its keep.
