Shop build and crane test

Weld, machine and wire in the Tehran shop, then run travel and hoist before the lorry leaves. Defects are cheaper on the floor than on a roof in summer.

    Shop build and crane test

This page is the shop gate in the journey: the machine is built and proven here, then shipped. It is not the fabrication-service catalogue. Girders take camber. Wheel blocks and end carriages are aligned as a set. Paint follows the project spec. If the bay has room, travel gets a shop run so a noisy brake or a walking crab shows up before site.

    When it fits

You are here when drawings are signed and plate may be cut. A design change now is a shop instruction, not a site surprise.

    Duty and steel

Shop test is empty travel and hoist, not the plant’s product. Duty class was frozen on the drawing. We do not down-class a machine in the shop because a drive arrived late.

    Interface

Wiring, pendant or radio pairing, and the first limit-switch setting happen where the bench is level. Festoon or conductor-bar hardware is fitted to the drawing. Alignment of the end carriages is checked with the wheel blocks that will meet the rail.

    Related service

Installation, handover and operator training is the next journey page. Plants that only want girders and end trucks built as a service use the fabrication page, without this shop-test story.
