When the catalogue page does not exist: grabs, rotating hooks, transfer-car geometry from the Tehran engineering desk.
Some processes need a grab, a rotating hook, or a transfer car nobody stocked last year. The job starts with the process description, then a design, then a shop that can live with the result. It is not a discounted SKU and not a resticker of a standard hoist.
When it fits
Buy R&D when the handling motion is the product: a ladle attitude, a coil grab, a car that must clear a press. If a KBK or overhead already covers the motion, stay on those hubs.
Duty and steel
Custom geometry still carries a duty class. We will not hide a process cycle behind a one-off silhouette.
Interface
Power, radio or pendant, and the building envelope are in the brief. Hydraulics, when present, stay on grabs and process tools — not a general hydraulic shop.
